Wu-Xing refers to the Chinese Five Phases or Five Elements. They consist of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The above painting, "Wu-Xing: Water" (TIDES) , is of course water. This is the second of my Wu-Xing series, the first being the element Fire, which was a private commission. The other phases will be along soon.
