I did several of these painting over the last twelve months. The reflection: What kind of man would take time from his day to teach 10 year olds how to throw a baseball and how to win with humility and grace. A very special man. I grew up at the YMCA and had many men guide and direct my life. Several of the paintings I gifted to "coaches" whom I had not seen in 20+ years - thanking them for what they did for and in my life. Baseball teaches a young boy about teamwork, and that you win some and you lose some - but you always give your very best effort.
"It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game".
