"I Fight Like A Girl" honors those who have fought or continue to fight the battle of breast cancer. It is because of their "Fight" that awareness for myself and others to get screened continues. The outside says "I am a woman"; the inside, we find the "fight" within our own being, to fight for ourselves or fight for others. The angel symbolizes those who lost the fight and thru their fight, we bring awareness to others. The heart that I incorporate in my art is a simple ribbon that is shaped to form the combination of a heart and the symbol for BC awareness/support. Written statement in center is from Linda Bock, one of my five sisters.
