My art is my medicine.  At an early age I have always had a creative attitude about myself.  I love to dance, music moves me, and I have always had a knack for creating things.  I have always had a desire to be able to look at an object, and duplicate it by way of drawing it, I never could.  It was very, very frustrating that I could not.

 

During my days of my depression and anxiety, due to my military back ground, I found myself creating a style of art that I have never seen before.  My art is my medicine, my therapy, and it feeds my appetite to create.

 

I am very fortunate to have this gift.  I have been truly blessed with it.  It has helped me to overcome and deal with adversity.  I wish to thank the staff at the Ralph H Johnson VA Medical Center.  Last but not least, I am proud to have served my country.
